Delay Tricks and Tips(延迟的一些小提示)
For Fatter lead Background Vocals—Use some chorusing ( very short modulated delays) panning hard left and right to fatten up the sound . Use different EQ and reverb settings on the delays(Make sure you check the mix in mono to be sure that the delays aren’t cancelling .) Ride the chorusing effect , adding and subtracting it according to what sound best .
让背景人声（主人声）变得丰满――运用一点合唱效果（非常短的delay调节），然后把panning设置到极左和极右，这样能让你的声音变得丰满。 在两个Delay上运用不同的EQ和reverb 设置（你要确定一点，你的mix是在mono的情况下，delay的效果没有被取消）。如何调整你的合唱效果，在于你的声音在提高或者降低合唱效果后所体现出来的效果那个最好。
For Out of Tune Vocals – Use a stereo pitch shifter with one side tuned slightly high and the other tuned slightly low .Pan these left and right . The more out of tune the vocal , the more you might want to de-tune the pitch up and down . This does an effective job of taking the listener’s attention off the sour notes .
对于走调的人声――运用一个Stereo的音调移动器，对其中一边的音调做些微的提高，以及另外一边做些微的降低。让他们的Pan设置到左边和右边。人声的走调越是厉害，你就要做更多的上下移调。这样的工序，对于走调的人声还是有比较显著的效果的。
For Electronic Keyboards – A nice delay effect that simulates a small room can be achieved by using a stereo delay and sitting the delay times to 211ms and 222ms.
