不好意思，之前在硬件版块那边发过此贴，由于没有人回答，所以想借SAWSTUDIO此版块来请教HIMHUI老师和各位老师~~`  请问FOCUSRITE OCTOPRE与FF 800是否可以实现作为FF 800的ADAT 8通道经过光千线与FF 800光千口连接再次扩展8个模拟通道？现在想把灵达ADA800和FOCUSRITE OCTOPRE作为FF 800的ADAT使用实现28个通道，同时三个设备WORD时钟连接是否只能串连方式？因为FF 800只有一个WORD IN一个WORD OUT吗？
如果需要这样实现请问购买FOCUSRITE OCTOPRE的扩展配件吗？是focusrite octopre Multiple I/O Option 转换器 还是focusrite octopre ADAT Option 音频卡 ？OCTOPRE LE版扩展配件是否不合适OCTOPRE的使用？
如果是买扩展配件实现选择哪一个就可以？如果有不同选择都可以的话，几者都有什么区别？

谢谢马甲老师给予的答案，我现在已经把百灵达ADA800设成FF 800的 ADAT 1用光千线跟FF  800连接上了，和用时钟线把百灵达ADA800 连上FF 800的WORD IN同步使用了，但是ADA800上面只有一个WORD 时钟口，FF 800有两个一个WORD IN ，一个WORD OUT，ADA800用了FF 800的WORD IN，那如果我再增加一块focusrite octopre ADAT Option ，他也只有一个WORD时钟口，请问是怎么连接啊？三个设备一起同步录音用的话```

就是三个设备的时钟连接怎么连接呢？

試試選 rme 的 clock mode 為 master, ada8000 和 octopre(如果有的話) 選 adat in 的 slave

想都同步比较麻烦,因为ADA8000和OCTORE都只有SYNC IN.最好的办法是买个时钟.如果不想破费,可以试试做根Y型时钟线,不过不知道理论上这种做法正确不正确.

其實, 不是用兩塊或以上聲卡才要同步嗎 ?
FF800 有兩個 ADAT IN, 分別插上ADA8000 和 OCTOPRE 不就可以?


The main reason I like making the soundcard the master is so it can chase SAWStudio everytime it opens sessions at different samplerates. If a converter is the master, you will have to physically change its samplerate clock if you open a session with a different rate than the last session.

In my past tech support experience, I have had numerous calls on files which were recorded at a different rate than the headers were stamped because of this very issue.

Having a soundcard as the master can eliminate that problem.

But whichever way you go, only one device can be the master, everything else has to be a slave and either Word-Clock connected, or ADAT Light Pipe connected through an ADAT input pipe, which will allow that device to chase the optical clock.

When I do the live recording thing with my RME boxes... I set the first RME to master... all converters are connected both in and out light pipes and set to optical sync... the second RME (for more than 24 chan live sessions) is set to WC sync from the first box... again, its converters are still set to optical.

他要接时钟同步线,让两个数字设备时钟同步

himhui 老师，我连接FF 800和ADA 8000的时候，没有用时钟线连接和设置WORD的时候，是好象有同步了，但是会出现偶尔的小爆音，连接设置后就好了`````

看到 saw forum 的朋友用 digiface +兩台 ada8000, 都說不用 word clock, 當然也可以用word clock cable, 但ada8000 也可用 adat in 來 sync , 在 rme 版面的 clock mode 選 master, ada8000 都為 slave, 而 ada8000 的 adat in/out 都要連上, 問題是 focusrite 的是否也可以在ff800 的 adat out 連到它 的 in 的情況下也可同步....你要試試。

You don't need to use word-clock. You need to set both ADA8000s to 'slave' on the back.
Check your Digiface settings, you shoudl be able to set the Digiface to master under 'Clock Mode' in the Digiface control panel.
I believe that you will need both in and out ADAT cables to both ADAs.

昨天一位朋友来了帮我协助理论问题探讨，似呼可以实现的样子，他说要不可以像margindge 老师那样说的Y型线，但需要另外加一个一分二的稳定欧姆分配的像有线电视的一分二的支分盒插座，把FF 800作为MASTER WORD OUT分给他们两台设置SLAVE或外部接收。```或者除了FF 800外把其中一台作为MASTER给FF 800 WORD IN，然后FF 800 WORD OUT给另一台SLAVE或外部接收，总结出这样的关系进行````
     同时我在想，如果把FF 800作为MASTER，其他两台Y线WORD IN FF 800，不知道两台进到FF 800，同步录音26模拟通道加本身两通道SPDIF进，共 28通道同时由FF 800火线进电脑的传输量，如果是最低的相同16BIT与44KHZ数下不知道能不能承受得了？
    情况似呼 还可以选择不同的16bit，24bit, 44khz,48khz的同样设置，OCTOPRE最高可以达到24bit,96KHZ的变成缩成4通道使用````
