uad的试用插件,有没有人知道这个?

电驴上看到的;

Tricky, but works & makes total sense!
Thank you to C.K for risking your trial period to figure this out!!

If you haven't read this information yet, read below and get cracking right, away no pun intended ;)

I've added additional tips & recommendations at the end that might make it easier to maintain. Seems like a risky &
troublesome procedure, but its really much simpler than it really seems!

***************************
OK here's the deal. Before anyone tries this I only tested this on a PC with a UAD-1 (Mackie version) with Logic 5.5.1 and Cubase 2.2.035 but I see no reason why it shouldn't work with any other sequencer. I will describe this as precise as I can cause there is a risk you lose your demo period for the demo plugins if you don't do it correct. Ofcourse it is all at your own risk bla bla bla...
WARNING - Just don't ever set your system date/time further then 14 days after the date/time you activated your demo plugins!!!! Or you will lose your demo period forever!!!!!!
What I advise you to do, is first try this with only one demo plugin to make sure it works for you. Before you try this I would like to point out that with this method you have to set your system time back which in my case means some of your files will no longer have the right date of creation, I chose to set my time exactly one year back so the only thing not correct is the year of creation. It is workable but not ideal and if someone knows a better method please let us know! Also don't set your system date/time back too far (for instance back to 1984), I tried this and I experienced some problems with programs not working correctly anymore.
As you may already know the rom on the UAD-1 remembers your system time and it will remember the time you first started a demo period for a demo plugin. But what I found out is if you set your system time back it will "freeze" the system time in the rom at the exact time and date you started to set your system time back. Now if you start the demo period for a demo plugin in the UAD-1 Meter and then set your system time back (for instance a year. Not forth!! otherwise you will lose your
demo period!!) and you start the UAD-1 Meter again you will get the message: "Your system time has been set back. You will not be able to run any timed demos until you set the correct system time." But what I found out although I got this message I still was able to use the demo plugins as long as my computer is turned on! That is if I haven't restarted my PC after activating the demo plugin. So if you now leave your PC on, you are able to use the demo plugins forever! Until your PC crashes ofcourse :)
So what if you don't want to leave your PC on? Well since the UAD-1 only remembers the point in time you set your system time back, you will only have to set your system time a little further then that point (I set it two minutes further), then start the UAD-1 Meter again to re-enable the Demo Plugins by confirming this is the correct system time, then set the system time back again (in my case 1 year), start the UAD-1 Meter again and you get the following message again: "Your system time has been set back. You will not be able to run any timed demos until you set the correct system time". And then you can use the demo plugins (ofcourse only the ones you activated earlier) again as long as your PC is turned on!
So as you can see now, you can use the demo plugins for a very long time depending on how many times you restart your pc.
In my example (with 2 minutes steps) you can use them : 14(days) x 24 x 30 = 10080 times!
Imagine how many hits you can make in that time!!! :)
AGAIN WARNING - Just don't ever set your system date/time further then 14 days after the date/time you activated your demo plugins!!!! Or you will lose your demo period forever!!!!!!
Since this is a little tricky I made the following guide for you:
1. Start the UAD-1 Meter
2. Activate the Demo plugins you want to try and write down the exact date and time you did it (example: 25-12-2004 1:18PM)
3. Set your system time back 1 year (example: 25-12-2003 1:18PM)
4. Start UAD-1 Meter again and you get the message: "Your system time has been set back! You will not be able to run any timed demos until you set the correct system time"
5. Ignore the message and use the demo plugins as long as your PC is turned on. The only message you get everytime you select a demo plugin in Logic/Cubase is: "UAD ....... has 14 days remaining in timed demo mode. Would you like to go to www.uaudio.come/authorizations to purchase the full version?" Just press No and continue.
6. Turn of your PC when you feel like it.
7. Next time you turn on your PC and want to use the demo plugins set your system time 2 minutes further then the system time you wrote down on paper (example: 25-12-2004 1:20PM)
8. Write this new system time down on paper for the next time (example: 25-12-2004 1:20PM)
9. Start UAD-1 Meter and you get the message: "You have not used Powered Plug-Ins for a while.
Is 1:20 PM 25-Dec-2004 the correct system time?"
10.Press OK
11.Goto step 3.
Well that's about it. I hope it works for you and again it's all at your own risk. I suggest if you don't know what you are doing or don't understand this guide please don't try it!

In Addition:
After reading this & being somewhat skeptical. I decided to give it a go.
What I figured is C.K. had already started his trial at a current time & he had to push back in order to avoid running over
the clocks 14 day period. What I decided to do is push my clock 2 years forward to 2007. I started my trial at this time &
logged it to a xl sheet.
So not to interrupt the space time continuum (Back to the Future anyone?) I reset my clock back to current day & time. This
will eliminate any issues with software not starting properly. From here its all really steps 4-11... Keeping a tidy log sheet
will help you do this.
My spreadsheet looks something like this?
|Plug-In|   |Activate Date||Start Time|Current Time|
________________________________________________________
Pultec Pro 17-Jan-07 20:28 20:31
Cambridge 17-Jan-07 20:50 20:31
Dream Verb 17-Jan-07 20:51 20:31
Fairchild 17-Jan-07 20:52 20:31
1176LN         17-Jan-07 20:53 20:31
Precision Lim. 17-Jan-07 20:54 20:31
Plate 140 17-Jan-07 20:55 20:31

Right, now notice how the start times are all different. I decided to use the Pultec Pro as the lab rat. So that start time
was much earlier than the rest. But to keep it all tidy, I set it up so the UAD clock registers the same time for all plug-ins.
Then all you have to do is set the clock 1 or 2 minutes to that time. Simple right?
Now Setting the clock forward will help you?
1? Keep your current day & time correct.
2? If you set it past the clock past the 14 days you logged?GAME OVER. As long as you start the trial in the future. It will
be somewhat difficult to do this!
3.. IMHO easier to manage.

Actual usage, How does it work?
C.K covered this, but looking at it in simple terms. The UAD-1 trial period is 14 days. That breaks down to 20,160 minutes.
That means you can restart your computer at least 10,000 times by resetting the clock 2 minutes forward each time. And if you抮e
fast enough about it, you can set your clock forward in 1 minute increments. This makes it even easier to manage.
Always set the clock early, never later!
When setting it to early, the worst can happen is?when you start the UAD-1 meter it will say 揧our system time has been set
back?. So just keep push the clock 1 minute forward until that message disappears. This would be useful if you forgot to log
your time! Just estimate! (Don抰 over estimate)
Universal Audio still has not lost me as a paying customer. Thanks to this, I will be off to the shop this weekend to purchase 2 more Studio Packs. And not to mention I will purchase these plug-ins in the near future (as I was planning to anyway). I realize what a great value they are & how truly amazing they sound. Best set of plug-ins by far! So at some point I抎 also like to avoid the, small, but more effort than usual, steps.
Enjoy!

不行.这是某外国ShaBility弄了两个注册表文件,说UAD就靠这玩意判定插件有没有被注册,请高人帮忙破解.末了还来一句,let's crack this!!!.............shability啊.....................

我手头上还未有卡,没得试。
等我拿到卡,再试试。
虽然有点麻烦
