可以允许把外置盒拔下来，可以把 Multiface 作为独立的 ADDA 转换器使用，还可以干些好像是作为独立的跳线器使用，具体不详。
- Disconnect mode allows to stop communication between CardBus/PCI card
and I/O box. This generates some interesting application examples, like
stand-alone operation of the I/O box. Set up the I/O box as 8-channel
ADAT converter, use TotalMix for a submix on headphone and SPDIF output.
Or use the 8 analog ins to any number of analog outs as analog submixer
- whatever you like that does NOT need the computer with recording or
playback. Engage Disconnect, then pull the Firewire cable. The unit will
continue operation, provided it is still powered by an external power
supply (of course).
- For Disconnect mode to work properly, we have reworked the Error
detection. This is now 100% reliable. Pull the FW cable, plug it back -
the unit will always 'Connect' (formerly Lock) properly without the need
to reboot.
- The former >Hardware State< display with Error, Detected and Locked
has been changed to >I/O Box< with Error, Detected, Connected and
Disconnected. We hope that this makes the states more clear.
- In Beta 3 the Settings (Clock Mode etc) were not reloaded after
sleep/resume. Fixed.
- A routine within the sleep detection caused the driver to cause a
crash when the CardBus was removed before sleep. Fixed.
- The mute (speaker protection) circuitry, which supresses pops during
driver/box load at the headphone output of Digiface and Multiface, works
again.
No changes:
- One user reported that active ADAT input made the Multiface become
detected as Digiface. We were not able to reproduce this.
- One user reported that using I,O and P in TotalMix made TotalMix' top
vanish behind the Mac's top bar. We were not able to reproduce this, on
different machines and with different screen resolutions.
- The hotkeys to load presets in TotalMix don't work (Ctrl and Alt
together with number 1 to 8). Will be addded soon.
Still no user response: we have improved the MIDI timing significantly
compared to version 1.2 - according to our own tests. It would be nice
to get some comments wehther this works for you or not.
