quicktime codec 會比較簡單 只要裝對了就可以, 另外 saw video viewer 要 2.7a 版本以上 , saw 4.1裡的 已是 3.0版本了
The quicktime codec hooks should be fine that are in that special download codec pack on my website.
You do need to be on the current version of SAWStudio with the new viewer in order to take advantage of those special codec hooks.
Check your viewer about... it should be 2.7a.

至於 mov, 支持是支持, 不過 MOV 的 CODEC 將可能是 PC 永遠的問題.....就算大家有幸能找到合適的可在 PC 播放的 MOV CODEC, 影片時間尋找上仍會是很慢.....影響播放時的暢順..和 工作效率
BOB 建議如果真的要在 PC 進行視頻工作, 把 MOV 轉為DV TYPE 2格式....
MOV files and all the codec issues is just something that will most likely go on forever in the PC. If you are going to do video work seriously on the PC, you really should consider finding a good converter utility you like and accept the fact that you might want to first simply convert to DV Type 2 and then do the work using the avi file.
Yes it takes time to convert and yes it takes disk space and yes... that's just the way it is.... get a big external drive... they are not expensive anymore.
If you are lucky enough that the MOV file will display using the codecs you find, you will also probably note jerky playback and in many cases very slow seek times as you jump around trying to move back and forth on the timeline... its just not worth the effort to me sometimes... much better to convert and then not have these issue for hours, days and weeks while you are doing serious audio work on the project.
Of course I'm always looking for better solutions, but I would also say that resisting the way things currently are and swimming upstream against the flow doesn't lead to much productivity at the moment. Do what needs to be done and get on with the workflow.![]()
