I used LME49710 opamps, metal can, except for one, where a FET-input opamp was needed (in the S*n**c 250 they used a TL071 in that place, go figure).
I found them really good sounding, with a great balance between speed/accuracy and warmth.
I noted that this circuit is really demanding for the active components. For instance, it's very sensitive to any noise/ripple in DC supply, and in certain conditions the opamps have to drive heavy loads at relatively high currents.
The LMEs are specially good at this, and they've always showed a THD much lower than the average.
It's easy to understand how, back in the 80's, such ICs were pure unobtanium, hence the discrete modules in the 432...
