Native 64‑bit support for stand‑alone and plug‑in versions.
1GB free disk space or 48GB for complete installation.
Kontakt 5 works as stand-alone, VST, Audio Units and RTAS (Pro Tools 8 or higher) versions. Although Windows 7 is a quoted requirement, Kontakt has been running on Windows XP (service pack 3) on a 32‑bit machine throughout the course of this review, with no problems at all.
